We are a source of tremendous energy, joy, love and peace. When tapped into this inner core, life becomes a celebration. Nirmal Matella, inspired by His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shanker, helps people do just that, through his courses designed by the Art of Living.
Come, experience this yourself with him:
BRINGING THE MIND, BODY AND BREATH TOGETHER
NM is a master trainer for programs like Shakti Kriya, Advanced Meditation Program, Sri Sri Yoga Level2, Sahaj Samadhi Dhyan Yoga, Happiness Program, YES+ and Sri Sri Yogal Level1. This QCI certified yogi is also an expert in neuro-linguistic programming.
Thousands have experienced the unison of mind, body and breath through his courses designed by the Art of Living, finding their way to a joyous life.
Spearheading initiatives like “Clean Delhi Drive,” “Volunteer for better India” and “India against corruption,” he leads by example when it comes to giving back and stretching the limits of one’s potential. The lives he continues to inspire range from the youth, armed forces, and corporate executives, to, deeply troubled sections of the society that deal with addiction and are incarcerated.
A HEALTHY BODY, A PEACEFUL MIND, A JOYFUL SPIRIT
Yogasanas for the body, meditations for the mind, music for the soul and nature for some self-discovery: explore from a range of events we do that cater to your every need.
All of these experiences happen online and offline. However, all of the offline activities are on hold until we win this pandemic.
Craniosacral Therapy (CST)
Craniosacral therapy is essentially resetting the body’s rhythm to its natural order through light touch. Every bone, muscle and organ in the body functions with a certain movement, which if disturbed, causes stiffness, aches, pains or even disease. Craniosacral therapy is a non-invasive, light touch technique that feels a disturbed movement of a body part and resets it back to its natural rhythm.

Team NM
NM’s gang of volunteers who he lovingly calls “vollies” come from different parts of the world, from varied streams of work, age group, skill sets and have distinct personalities, making for a joyful bunch who is constantly learning and growing under his direction. Meet them here:
He’s a graduate in Business administration with a creative streak that comes through his lens. An entrepreneur and digital marketeer, Rajat’s smile is as infectious as is his spirit!
A 90’s kid, he is what “LPG”; means in an Economic World; Liberal in Heart, Private in Mind and Global in Nature. A movie buff & a bathroom singer, he loves pineapple on his pizza!
Manvi believes that “strength comes from doing things you think you can’t.” She is convinced that time is just a delusion and life is to be lived in the ‘now’.
Karan lights up dullest of scripts with his acting skills. Sincere & diligent, his beloved Gurudev is his source of motivation and NM is his guiding light. He spreads smiles everywhere he goes!
A people management professional, Shruti is fascinated by the patterns of the mind. She wishes to bring a change in this world by spreading the knowledge of breath & the wonders it can do.
A physiotherapist & a doting mother of two, Aditi loves to travel & experiment with age old recipes. Her spiritual journey has taken her from “all I want is everything” to “all I want is my sadhana!”
Her heart jingles when birds sing, smiles when she sees a rainbow, and hugs sun rays. She loves the nature & has been singing & dancing for as long back as she can remember.
Short girl who when not eating or reading, works as a Finance Manager. Geek, loves numbers and spreadsheets and think a lot can be achieved by being organised. Meditation for her is calm in this chaos of life.
This business consultant heads the North region for Philips Lighting and has been associated with the Art of Living since 2011. He teaches foundation courses and is tech geek who loves trekking & hiking.
Tea or coffee? cat or dog? mountains or the beach? hero or anti-hero? A wonderer & a wanderer, who believes “to a well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure.”
A seeker & an explorer, Aditya believes in experiential truth & loves to connect to new people. He keeps learning and unlearning. He tries to dwell in all possibilities of life. He has questions about life and living and collects perspectives and stories.
Rashi is a Software Developer who has also learnt different spiritual sciences. She’s done many courses after her first Happiness course in 2010 & feels a drastic difference in her perspective after implementing the knowledge she learnt.
Mudit is a true nature lover. He’s an educationist by profession. Through his school he nurtures young minds, bringing out their talent, to make them self-reliant individuals and socially-responsible adults. He strongly believes in “Vasudev Kutumbakam”- one world family.
Among the many roles that Shivangi plays, some are: a brainiac working with a robotics educational start-up, a dedicated home maker, and a loving mother. She charms everyone with her endearing smile. Spirituality is her great motivation & strength in life.
Aircraft is her ride and sky is her home. Dilpreet is a lead flight attendant who walks on cloud 9 but is deeply grounded through spirituality. She can be found meditating even when on-the-go in cars or airplanes.
NM: of adventure, giving back, and good coffee!
Currently nestled amidst the mountains of Uttarakhand in a home overlooking a lake and formidable mountain peaks beyond, NM is an intriguing personality. He loves travelling- an aspect that goes perfectly with his work as a teacher. He’s travelled the length and breadth of India, spent considerable amount of time in Europe, South-East Asia and the UAE. He in fact, took up the challenge of introducing the Art of Living courses in Togo, West Africa. He loves trekking, dunking a basketball, stealing moments from time with photography, revels in the adrenalin rush of adventure sports and is passionate about Vedic Remedies. His love for his homeland made him move back to the mountains and he is currently working on bringing the culture of Kumaon to the world.
Giving back to the society is an integral part of his life. “MDMY, “Volunteer for a Better India,” and “India against Corruption” are some of the projects he has spearheaded. He organised “United we march” – a conference with 6 bodies of the United Nations wherein more than 1200 college students of India participated. He also led multiple departments in the organising committee for “World Culture Festival”, the world’s largest congregation of Artists and World leaders from 155 countries that was held in New Delhi in March 2016.
Taking up these initiatives, along with his courses and following personal interests, NM still ensures quality in everything he does. Oh, and did we say he LOVES a good cup of coffee?
